I always rolled my eyes whenever I saw "Great Instagram Husband" on a dating website, but now I'm getting the appeal.
Don't get me wrong; I love my mom. She is fantastic, amazing, and wonderful at pretty much everything she does. But she doesn't take good pictures. Sometimes, she will shoot up to fifty pictures of me, and maybe two will turn out decent.
Then pops in my older brother DJ. I'm like, "I have to take a picture of my outfit for Instagram" and he's like "Okay, sit on this bench". Ten seconds later, I have ten pictures, and they all look freaking fantastic.
Stupid genius brothers. He got the math and science genes; did he really need the artistic ones too?
But yeah. I have decided that "Great Instagram Husband" is now a requirement moving forward since, apparently, this Instagram thing is going to stay a thing for a while longer.
C'est la vie.
About the Look
You'll notice that I tend to wear a lot of the same thing, just sometimes in different colors. For this outfit, I'm wearing the white version of my pink shorts with this faux-denim tunic and my usual adds-sleeves-to-sleeveless-things undershirt. The shoes I got from Burlington for $12, and I absolutely love them. Unfortunately, I have so few outfits to wear them with. Periwinkle just doesn't go with everything the way true-red does, which is a real shame.
No purse with this outfit because I wasn't going anywhere, but if I had one, it would probably be the $15 periwinkle Rosetti I had when I wore this outfit in pink. It matches the shoes :)
